Our Team

Diane
Diane is the owner and creative force behind Seamless, as well as the day to day face you’ll meet across the counter. When you walk into Seamless you feel a light-hearted energy, laughter and a feeling of genuine care. That’s Diane, she is the heart and soul of this much-loved local business.
Diane isn’t just good with a needle and thread – she’s passionate about people. A firm believer in good old-fashioned customer service, she makes everyone who walks through the door feel like a friend. Whether you’re after a simple patch-up or a more challenging alteration or repair, she listens, advises, and finds a solution that meets your needs.
Always looking for ways to improve and grow, she’s constantly improving processes and techniques.
Dedicated to helping you get the most out of your clothes, she can talk you out of throwing away that jacket you “definitely can’t save” (spoiler: she’ll save it).
It’s her blend of fun, focus, heart and professionalism, that keeps customers coming back and makes Seamless more than just a place for alterations. It’s a place where clothes – and connections – are carefully stitched together.
In August 2024 she relocated Seamless to a new, larger store on Queen Street, the main street of Richmond.
Diane says "The move to the new store was not only exciting but a direct result of 4 years hard work. I have been able to structure the space to fit the business and the result is we now have dedicated work areas and a gorgeously sunny, spacious customer area. It has such a lovely vibe. It also allows us to offer a larger range of haberdashery, be a dry cleaning drop off agent as well as include a heavy textile service, where we can work with leather, canvas and similar textiles.
‘I feel privileged I can do work I love, surrounded by talented staff, and supported by the local community’.
